Kyle Rittenhouse was born 2003 (he's over 18 years of age) to Michael Sean Rittenhouse born 1977 in Illinois and Wendy Elaine Lewis born 1974 in Michigan. He has two sisters. His paternal grandparents are Richard Chris Rittenhouse and Julie Ann Swirniak. His maternal grandparents are Calvin Franklin Lewis and  Blanche Myrtle Beard. 

Kyle's paternal ancestors are from Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Canada and Poland/Austria. His maternal ancestors are from Germany and other places. His family is not Jewish but Christian. Kyle's Rittenhouse family is from Germany. Kyle's 10th great grandfather is William Rittenhouse. William's great grandson was David Rittenhouse after whom Rittenhouse Square in Pennsylvania is named. Below is the relationship from William to Kyle Rittenhouse. Kyle is the 1st cousin nine times removed of David Rittenhouse.

Calvin Franklin Lewis. 

"Calvin Franklin Lewis, 65, of Wellston, died peacefully in his sleep, July 31, 2006, at home. He was born August 18, 1940, in Vanceburg, Kentucky, the son of Chester and Rose (Butler) Lewis.

Calvin had worked as a logger most of his life and he was a jack-of-all-trades who liked helping his family and friends. Calvin enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed carpentry work. Most of all, Calvin loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

On September 15, 1962, in Clyde, Ohio, Calvin married Blanche Myrtle Beard, who survives him. He is also survived by: 8 children, Barbara Lynn (Charlie) Kincaid of West Virginia, Rose Marie (Douglas) Hoffman of Brethren, Lisa Kay Lewis of Wellston, John Franklin Lewis of Wellston, Nancy Ann Lewis of Wellston, Susan Lorraine (Christian) Pyne of Irons, Wendy Elaine (Mike) Rittenhouse of Zion, Illinois, and David Joseph (Teonee) Lewis of Wellston; 14 grandchildren, Joshua Rendone, Sarah Cone, Matthew Kincaid, Levi Kincaid, Kristofer Hoffman, Bailey Lewis, T.J. Dietz, John Pyne, Rachael Pyne, Faith Rittenhouse, Kyle Rittenhouse, Mackenzie Rittenhouse, Emilee Lewis and Heidi Lewis; his brother, Homer (Brenda) Lewis of Dublin; 4 sisters, Naomi Burton of Newberry, Carolyn (Charles) Galloyway of Bellevue, Ohio, DeeDee (Pete) Waitner of Newaygo, and Lillian (Charles) Rinebold of Fremont, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calvin was preceded in death by: his parents; 3 brothers, Chester Lewis Jr., Ora Lewis and Wilson Lewis; 2 sisters, Flora Rinebold, and Gertrude Lewis; and 1 daughter-in-law, Billie Jo (Wolfe) Lewis."

Blanche Myrtle Beard Lewis.

"Blanche M. Lewis, a longtime resident of Wellston for 57 years was born April 14, 1943, in Norwalk, Ohio and died on her 78th birthday, April 14, 2021. Blanche graduated in 1961.

She met the love of her life and married Calvin Lewis September 15, 1962, 42 years, who died in July of 2006. They shared many memories and had eight children: Barbara (Charley) Kincaid, Rose (Steve) Milliman, Lisa Lewis, John (Amy) Lewis, Nancy Lewis, Susan (Don) Kopolus, Wendy Lewis, and David (Teonee) Lewis. Blanche was also known as "granny" or "grammie" by her grandchildren: Joshua Rendone, Sarah (Tyler) Levering, Matthew (Kandance) Kincaid, Levi Kincaid, Kristofer (Elizabeth) Hoffman, Bailey Lewis, John (Zoey) Pyne, Rachael (Steve) Troupe, Christine, Howie and Zenie Lewis, Emilee, and Heidi Lewis; and step grandchild, T.J. Dietz. Blanche was blessed to be a great grandma to: Brianna, Delanney, Sophia, Violet, Elizabeth, Coraline, and her first great grandson,Walker and step-great-grandson: Connor.

Blanche was very much a loving mom, grandma, and great grandma who was involved with all of her family. She enjoyed spending time with all of them. Blanche also enjoyed putting puzzles together, doing sudoku puzzles, watching sports, going to yard sales, and liked to yodel.

Blanche is also survived by: one sister, Donna McCoy; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Cliff and Myrtle Beard; three brothers, George, Gurney, and Robert; and three sisters, Betty, Edna, and Bernice. She will be missed because of her contagious smile and her sense of humor."

Everett Deloss Rittenhouse.

"Everett Deloss Rittenhouse, 100, of Zion, Illinois walked the stairway to heaven on Wednesday morning, January 16, 2019.

Everett was born in Seneca, Nebraska on October 9, 1918 to Ross and Rena Rittenhouse.  At the age of 5 the family moved to Zion.  On August 19, 1941 Everett married Florence (Tiny) Larsen in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They settled in Glendale, California and planned to make this area their home. On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor changed their life plans.   On May 2, 1942 Everett enlisted in the United States Army where he served in the 131st Ordinance 9th Division in the Ardennes Rhineland Central Europe campaign and was honorably discharged on October 27, 1945.    Everett then came back home to Zion to reunite with his wife who had previously relocated to be near family.  At this point he started a career that would last over 40 years as a Auto Body mechanic. Upon retirement Everett enjoyed many years of winter  “snowbirding” in Arizona.  Everett golfed until he was 95 , loved the Cubs, gardening, cooking and being with all his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 78 years, Florence (Tiny) Rittenhouse; three children, Joanne Pennock, Everett Rittenhouse, and Chris (Julie) Rittenhouse; eight grandchildren, Tom (Jennifer) Pennock, Sherry (Mike) Gladue, Kelly Chaney, Stephanie (Chris) Lang, Erin Dremonas, Mike Rittenhouse, Christopher Rittenhouse, and Ami (David) Ashby; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross & Rena Rittenhouse; brother, Ross Rittenhouse Jr.; sister, Marjorie Bergmann; and niece, Pamela Houcek."

Florence Louise Larsen Rittenhouse 

Florence Louise Rittenhouse (Tiny), 95, entered into her eternal life with the Lord on Monday, May 27th 2019. A former resident of Zion, Illinois she had spent the last seven months residing in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin at Grande Prairie Health & Rehab. Tiny was born on October 19th 1923 in Waukegan, Illinois to Kristian & Florence Larsen. At a young age Tiny accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. On August 19th 1941 she married Everett D. Rittenhouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. They planned to create their home in Glendale, California. On December 7th 1941 Pearl Harbor changed their life plans. Everett left to serve in WWII, and Tiny decided to move to Milwaukee Wisconsin to be closer to family while he was away. After the war Everett came back to Zion and the couple planted their roots at "the island" their home of 75 years. This home served as a gathering hub for countless holidays, family gatherings, and club with friends. Tiny enjoyed her role as the matriarch of the family. She enjoyed going to the beach, being outside, playing cards, bowling, golf, snowbirding in Arizona, being a member of Grace Missionary Church, and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Joanne Pennock, Everett Rittenhouse, and Chris (Julie) Rittenhouse; eight grandchildren, Tom (Jennifer) Pennock, Sherry (Mike) Gladue, Kelly Chaney, Stephanie (Chris) Lang, Erin Dremonas, Mike Rittenhouse, Christopher Rittenhouse, and Ami (David) Ashby; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 78 years, Everett Rittenhouse; her parents, Kristian Larsen & Florence Leckman; sister Loretta Smith; and niece Diana Larson. An interment was held at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion Illinois with Pastor Doug Carlson officiating. A special thank you to the staff at Grande Prairie Health & Rehab, and Vitas Hospice for caring so dearly for her during the last days of her life."
