UPDATE: 02/06/2021 Apology attempt number two. FAIL. She refused to admit and apologize for lying. After lying about being born in Spain she said she was born in Boston, Massachusetts but then lived in Spain until she went to University in New York. Photos from her high school yearbook were posted. This is not a real apology.

Hilaria was on the cover of Hola! magazine twice. It's a magazine for Spanish people. Each time they wrote she was born in Spain. Hilaria now states she never reads articles about herself so she never realized they got it wrong. Come on!

June 2013: Baldwin retweets a Latina magazine article that lists her as one of the "15 Best Dressed Latina Stars of the Week."

UPDATE: Hilaria now says she's going to go social media silent...yet she's still posting. Below is more proof of her busted story.

Her explanation is now that she was raised in both countries and speaks both languages. This doesn't ring true. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She lived with her family in Massachusetts during her entire upbringing. Her parents didn't move to Spain until 2011 per their own biographies and relatives obituaries I posted below. Her parents ran one week seminars in California in Spain before that. They never lived there. Hilaria was 27 in 2011 a year before she married Alec. 

If you speak another language, you will have an accent in English if you speak that other language from birth to age 18. That didn't happen. Fake accent. If you do have an accent, it should sound like your parents. My English and Spanish sounds exactly like my grandmother who raised me. Hilaria's parents both sound like they spoke English from birth which they did.

Here's another questionable statement. She claims her real name "Hillary" is "Hilaria" in Spanish. I've never heard of "Hilaria" but I have heard of "Hilario" which is an old timey male name in Spanish.  "Hilario" would be a translation for "Hilary" as in the man's name "Hilary." Hilaria is close to Hillary so whatever. She can clearly call herself whatever she likes. If her parents were Spanish even if she were born in Boston, they would not have named her "Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas." They would have picked a different Spanish first and middle name. Notice the names Hilaria gave to her children who were born in New York, i.e. Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo and Eduardo. She gave them real Spanish names. Why didn't her parents if she were truly Latino? Because she's not.

Here's a video where she pretends she doesn't speak English too well. She says  "how you say in English?" The host replies "cucumber."

Her husband Alec Baldwin responded. He basically said everyone is lying and "consider the source." The source is everyone. The evidence is videos, media articles, her own words and those of her own family.

ORIGINAL: I just read an article that Hilaria Baldwin has been faking being born in Mallorca, Spain and being Latino. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts though her parents have lived at times in Mallorca, Spain. Below is Hilaria Baldwin born Hillary Lynn Thomas' family tree. No one was born in Spain.

Hilary Lynn Thomas was born January 6, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents and grandparents were all born in the United States. Her husband is Alexander Alec Baldwin. Her parents are David L Thomas Jr born 1949 and Dr Kathryn Hayward born 1955. They founded this group International Integrators. Her paternal grandparents are David Lloyd Thomas and Mary Lou Artman. Her maternal grandparents are Charles Byrne Thomas and Irene Lillian Webler. She has a brother, Jeremy Luke Hayward-Thomas born 1982. He runs Macro-Mediterranean which sells healthy vegan food.

So far the family is from England, Ireland, Germany, one set of maternal great great grandparents are from Czech and one from French Canada. In the grand scheme of things they are all Europeans just like people from Spain. Still, no need to make up a fake history for yourself. You can still appreciate Spain, give your children Spanish names and want your children to be bilingual without lying and saying you were born there.

One semi interesting thing is that Hilaria and Alec are about ninth cousins. Most people of European descent are about 16th cousins so this is a tiny bit closer than most. They are related through their English line via the name Gallup. I'm also their cousin via the same line. I saw some familiar names so I took it a little farther. Below is the relationship. The exact relationship is "Alexander Rae "Alex" Baldwin Baldwin is a 9th cousin of a parent of Hilary Lynn "Hilaria" Hayward Thomas." Here is her full tree on Geneanet. I added a lot more info than the top family tree image. She's English, Irish and German mainly.

"Mary Lou Thomas of East Arlington, the librarian responsible for the Russell Vermontiana Collection of the Martha Canfield Library in Arlington, died at home of cancer on Sept 1. She was 67. Mrs. Thomas was born in Goff, Kansas, on May 14, 1927, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Springer) Artman. She attended Lindenwood College in St. Charles, Mo., and then the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 1949, with a major in hospital dietetics. She also attended Bank Street College in New York City, where in 1964 she received a master's degree in education. In 1946, she married David L. Thomas in Kearney, Neb. After completing their studies, they moved to the Syracuse, N.Y., area where Mrs. Thomas owned and operated a nursery school, and then to the Schenectady, N.Y., area where she taught in church nursery schools. In 1959, Mrs. Thomas and her husband moved to Scarsdale, N.Y., where she taught part-time in the public schools. Mrs. Thomas subsequently accepted a position in the library of the New York   Genealogical and Biographical Society in New York City and, after more than 10 years retired as head, librarian in 1982. Upon her retirement, Mrs. Thomas and her husband made their full-time home in Arlington where they first had bought property in 1955. During her entire association with Arlington, Mrs. Thomas was active in documenting and preserving the history of Vermont and particularly of the local area. He is also survived by Patricia's son Evan Germeles of Wyoming, and Patricia's daughter Dr. Christina Herold, husband Kenneth and grandson Teddy of Needham, MA. David was predeceased in 1994 by his cherished first wife Mary Lou (Artman), the mother of his two children, and by his brother, John W. Thomas.

Fondly known by family members as "DL", David enlisted at age 17 in the U.S. Navy at the very end of WW II, too late to be deployed overseas. Upon returning home to Nebraska after discharge, he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Lou (affectionately known as "ML") on September 1, 1946. They graduated from the University of Nebraska shortly after the birth of David Jr. and, prompted by David's first East Coast job in a management-training program at General Electric, (GE) moved to Syracuse, NY in July 1949, where their daughter Carol was born.

In 1954, the family moved to Schenectady, NY where David became a GE traveling auditor for GE, traveling extensively within the U.S. and to Argentina on audits. A few years later, he took his family to Argentina to visit places where David had lived and worked, an experience which instilled in his children a curiosity about the wider world and inspired them to become proficient in the Spanish language.

In 1959, the family moved from Schenectady to Scarsdale, NY, when David began working as a corporate financial officer, first at McCall's and later at General Dynamics in NYC. In 1971, he joined Dun and Bradstreet Corporation, from which he retired as Sr. VP-Finance in 1982 at the age of 55, to pursue his many other interests.

Early in their marriage, David and Mary Lou had traveled to Arlington, VT in search of genealogical roots. They discovered that David's family presence in that part of Vermont pre-dated the American Revolution. They purchased a summer cottage and later an old farmhouse in East Arlington. Upon retirement from jobs in NYC, they made Arlington their home.

David was an avid reader and student of American history and an appreciator of Vermont history and American antiques. In 1984 he purchased an old Boston business that specialized in handcrafted and antique silver. From Arlington, DL continued to run that business, enjoying the connections it brought him with others knowledgeable and interested in American antiques. He loved planning and planting his vegetable garden each Memorial Day weekend, and tending it through harvest time, involving his children and grandchildren in the annual ritual.

In Vermont both David and Mary Lou participated in community activities. David was a trustee of the Bennington Museum (1983-1994 and Trustee Emeritus) and of the Vermont Historical Society (1988-1994.) David and Mary Lou devoted much time and effort to preserving, building, and curating the Russell Vermontiana Collection, now housed at the Martha Canfield Library in Arlington. Until recent years, David served on the Board of the Martha Canfield Library and was one of the founders of the Arlington Townscape Association, which was responsible for a book about the history of Arlington. In his various volunteer endeavors, David's sense of humor and congeniality, as well as his financial expertise, were appreciated by those who worked with him.

In 1995 he married Patricia, of Litchfield, CT, who shared his interests in antiques, history and reading. For a number of years they maintained a home in Litchfield, having great fun restoring an antique house there, but more recently moved to the Boston area to be closer to family, while continuing to spend time in Arlington."

Irene Webler Hayward maternal grandmother 1932 - 2016.

"Traveling with Purpose" "Irene Hayward was free of suitcases and carry-on bags when she journeyed on Friday, October 14. The family encircled her in the living room, singing, “Goodnight Irene,” “Amazing Grace,” “I’m Leaving on a Jet Plane,” and “Let it Be.” While we were singing “Over the River and Through the Woods,” at 9:18 p.m., she took her last breath and passed.

In doing so, Irene joined her parents and other loving family members. She also joined the exodus of travelers who have passed from this world who, over the years, participated in the tours that she and her husband, Chuck Hayward, offered to the community for more than 35 years.

Irene, a 1954 graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital’s nursing program, and Chuck guided thousands of people during more than 100 cultural tours in countries on 5 continents. Through both their own tour organization called Hayward Cultural Tours and their work with the Springfield Library and Museums Association, Irene and Chuck visited so many places that they jokingly remarked, “We know the location of the ladies’ rooms in virtually all of the world’s most famous museums.”

For decades, they followed the footsteps of Winslow Homer, Vincent Van Gogh, Michelangelo and Tut Ankh Amen among innumerable others.

Irene’s job was to see that the trip Chuck designed was executed flawlessly. One traveler remembers that Irene “genuinely cared about each and every person she encountered with compassion and a zest for life. There was nothing casual or routine in the way that Irene ran the travel program. The people under her care were her priority, and that had a huge impact on me.” Admirers of this wonderful woman include bus drivers, participants, guides and staff at the destination; Irene was instinctively tuned in to them on so many levels.

Irene developed pneumonia that led to her passing. We in her family honored her wishes and brought her home from the hospital under the compassionate expertise of Baystate VNA and Hospice and HomeWatch CareGivers. Through the care of these angels and shepherds, we were able to be together in her last hours, supporting her passage and one another. Most importantly, she left us from the comfort of her home.

Irene’s parents were Francis and Lillian Webler from Agawam. Her brothers are Roy and Bob Webler, and sisters-in-law are Dottie and Pat. Her children are Kathryn, Matthew and Jonathan, and children-in-law are David, Lorna, Robin and Patty. Her grandchildren are Jeremy, Hilaria, Julia, Andrew, Justin and Christopher, and grandchildren-in-law are Maria and Alec. Her great-grandchildren are Gabriel, Carmen, Rafael and Leonardo. I just realized that when Jessica Krug complained at city meetings that "white people" were "gentrifying" "her" "barrio" SHE was actually the "white gentrifyer" taking a home from a poor POC. There is just too much irony here all the way around. 

09/05/2020 The University responded.

September 04, 2020 "The members of the faculty of The George Washington University Department of History are shocked and appalled by Dr. Jessica Krug’s admission on September 3, 2020 that she has lied about her identity for her entire career. With what she has termed her “audaciously deceptive” appropriation of an Afro-Caribbean identity, she has betrayed the trust of countless current and former students, fellow scholars of Africana Studies, colleagues in our department and throughout the historical discipline, as well as community activists in New York City and beyond. The discipline of history is concerned with truth telling about the past. With her conduct, Dr. Krug has raised questions about the veracity of her own research and teaching. Accordingly, the department calls upon Dr. Krug to resign from her position as associate professor of History at GW. Failing that, the department recommends the rescinding of her tenure and the termination of her appointment."

Jessica Krug's sister in law today stated that she is white white. The family did not know she pretended to be black. Family claims to have been estranged.

This is a little odd. The brother is a registered sex offender with his mugshot, crimes and home address listed on the internet. What Jessica did was bad but worse than a man who sexually assaulted a child?

"Her sister-in-law told CNN she’s not met Krug, who’s been estranged from her brother for 20 years, and Krug’s not welcome in their household. “Our last name is tarnished, and all my husband and I want to do is cry our eyes out right now. I can only imagine my father-in-law rolling around in his grave.”

Turns out Jessica Krug told people she grew up poor in foster care, was abused, homeless...in New York. She actually went to a very expensive college prep high school in Kansas City, Missouri. 

UPDATE: Turns out Jessica Krug's colleagues were going to out her to the public. That is the alleged reason why she came forward with her mea culpa. George Washington University is investigating the situation. I assume she will be fired.

Mr. Krug was born on May 15, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Joseph and Fannie Kolkin Krug, and was a lifelong resident until moving to Las Vegas in 1999 (His son was charged with sexual assault of a child in Kansas City, Missouri in 1999 then they both moved to Las Vegas, Nevada). 

He served in the U.S. Navy during the war in Vietnam. Mr. Krug’s parents owned the Eastside Market for over 30 years. He was a former member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue.

Mr. Krug was preceded in death by both of his parents and ex-wife Sherry M. Krug. Mr. Krug is survived by his son: Joshua William Krug and his wife Amy Marie Krug of Las Vegas; step-grandson: Adam P. O’Reilly of Clarksville, Tennessee; his daughter: Jessica Ann Krug of the Bronx, New York; cousin: Evan Jacobs, his wife Mary Jacobs, and sister: Bernice Jacobs of Memphis, Tennessee. His uncle Leonard and Aunt Cathy Krug of Columbia, Kentucky; along with cousins also survive. He was a kind, loving person that enjoyed life and will surely be missed."

SHERRY KRUG Sherry Krug, 65, Albany, NY, formerly of Overland Park, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at St. Peter’s hospital in Albany. Graveside services and burial 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9 at Sheffield Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Kindly omit flowers; the family suggests contributions to Congregation Ohav Sholom, 115 Krumkill Rd., Albany, NY 12208 or Congregation Ohev Sholom, 5311 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208. Sherry was born June 3, 1948 in Albany, the daughter of Arnold and Shirley (Cohn) Levine. She loved to work with children, which she did as a Vista/AmeriCorps volunteer and previously as a teacher and tutor. Learning was very important to her and she enjoyed discussions on the politics of the day. More recently, she brought spirit and energy to her many ‘’best friends’’ at Ohav Sholom in Albany, NY, who cared so deeply for her. She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Levine. Sherry is survived by her son and daughter-in- law: Josh and Amy Krug, Las Vegas, NV; daughter: Jessica Krug, Washington D.C.; mother: Shirley Levine; brother and sister-in-law: Joel and Beverly Levine, all of Overland Park, KS; sister and brother-in-law: Judy Levine-Holley and Steve Holley, San Antonio, TX; step-grandson: Adam O’Reilly; nieces and nephews.

Below is a pic of her brother born 1975 from high school. There is a registered sex offender where he lives in Las Vegas, Nevada by the same exact name. Looks pretty similar if the person had a rough life. They are short like Jess with hazel eyes, same nose, ears, mouth. I'm not going to make that call yet. I only wanted a pic so we can see that she looks like her brother i.e. white. Okay, his address as a registered sex offender matches the parents and wife's name. It appears to be the same person. The charge was "Offense/Statute:Att Agg Indecent Liberties W/childAdjudication Date: 1999." The father stated he lived in Las Vegas, Nevada where he is registered. Crime was committed in Kansas City, Missouri where he was born.

Below Jess la Bombalera i.e. the bombshell, speaks in a fake Latino accent. She says she's calling in from a rooftop in "el barrio." Barrio is neighborhood where everyone speaks Spanish. She doesn't. So cringeworthy! I'm Latino and this is so embarrassing. June 2020 and she's complaining about white people who wouldn't give their speaking time to Latinos or Blacks. She says whites are destroying "her" neighborhood. She states this in a government meeting to the government. Fraud. FYI "bombshell" means very attractive woman.

"Fannie Kolkin Krug, 82, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008. Graveside services at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers; the family suggests contributions to The Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W. 75th, Prairie Village, KS 66208. Mrs. Krug was born in Kansas City and was a lifelong resident until moving to Las Vegas six years ago to be near family. Mrs. Krug owned with her husband, Joseph, Krug's Eastside Market for over 30-years. Mrs. Krug was a former member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue and a past president of its Sisterhood. She was a member of the Heritage Club and actively volunteered with many organizations. Mrs. Krug was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Joseph, in 1975. She is survived by son, Stuart Krug, Las Vegas; grandson and his wife, Joshua and Linda Krug, Las Vegas; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Krug, Madison, Wis.; brother-in-law and his wife, Leonard and Cathy Krug, Columbia, Ky.; nephews and their spouses, Harvey and Janelle Flacks, Leawood, Kan., Evan and Mary Jacobs, Memphis, Tenn.; niece, Bernice Jacobs, also of Memphis. Other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive."
